Drybrook Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy serving the local community. We are committed to providing an excellent service, and our staff are friendly, helpful and caring. We take a personal interest in patients and customers, and go out of our way to help, support and advise people. There is always a pharmacist available to give advice and deal with queries about prescriptions and over the counter medicines. Please ask if you would like a private consultation. If we are unable to help, we can supply contact information or refer to other health and social care providers. We were accredited as a 'Healthy Living Pharmacy' In January 2014, and all staff have undergone extra training to give advice about public health issues, such as healthy eating, exercise, weight management, stop smoking and sexual health. We have two stop smoking advisors, who run our successful NHS stop smoking service. Our 4 week quit rate for 2016/2017 was 78%. Appointments are not always necessary and we can see people most days including Saturday mornings.Appointments are free and products are supplied on the NHS. Smokers using this service are 4 times more likely to quit than going it alone. We provide free confidential sexual health serices to under 25s, which include emergency contraception, condoms on the C-card scheme, chlamydia treatment, and advice on chlamydia testing. We can give advice on incontinence and have a large range of incontinence products.
