An interactive directory of opticians and optical services, hyper-optimised for Google search.

How does it work?

By grouping opticians together online, we create a vast network that boosts both individual member opticians and the network itself.

Using publically available data, the Local Optician Network is the first and only medical network of its kind, designed to prioritise and boost the presence of existing bricks and mortar opticians practices in the online space over and above other NHS services.

By placing a digital layer on top of the existing opticians practice network, the platform also creates data insights for the sector, not least the physical areas all over the UK where there is no service provision. It also answers the government’s call for more efficient use of digital in healthcare provision.

Development & member benefits

As the site develops, member opticians will be able to sign up to new services that boost their revenue further, including click-and-collect, travel clinic services, facilities bookings, boosted social media posts and digital ads, a centralised eCommerce platform and medicine delivery services, and an automatically-boosted web presence, which will do away the need for an expensive website.

In addition we are developing an extensive member rewards program including hotel and flight discounts and other benefits TBA.
